JACKSON COUNTY SENTENCES FOR THE WEEK OF AUGUST 26
Joseph A. Cervantez, Jackson County State’s Attorney, announced today that multiple individuals have been convicted and sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Robert Remey Martin, 21, of Herrin, Illinois, was convicted of two counts of Unlawful Use of Weapons by A Felon. Martin was sentenced to 8 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Jerrette D. Reed, 33, of Carbondale, Illinois, was convicted of Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Firearm. Reed was sentenced to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Alex J. Conklin, 20, of Murphysboro, Illinois, was sentenced to 7 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for burglary and 7-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for Arson. Conklin was sentenced to an additional two years for failing to return to the Jackson County jail after a court approved furlough.
Matthew L. Hall, 36, of Murphysboro, Illinois was convicted of two counts of Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon. Hall was sentenced to 6 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
